We are proud to announce that Olgierd Świerzewski, employed by us as the General Legal Councel at Orbis (Accor Polska), is the Polish candidate for the title of Corporate Lawyer of the Year, awarded by the British magazine "The Lawyer".

Olgierd Świerzewski has been the chief lawyer for almost seven years at Accor Poland and its daughter company - Orbis. Previously, he was a managing partner in the law firm Łukowicz Świerzewski i Wspólnicy for five years, once belonging to the legal network DLA Piper. He also worked for four years in the transaction advisory department and the financial markets team of the consulting company Ernst & Young. He is a legal advisor, a graduate of law studies at the University of Warsaw (1995).

A few years ago he made his debut in the field of literature, and today he has two books already published. The first one - "Scent of the city after the storm" was released in 2014. It is a story of love in the declining Soviet empire, having chess games at the master level for the background. The second book is the "Master" novel published in 2016 - the history of the power struggle taking place in the world of business corporations.
